and now you are wondering why they celebrate her in Sweden
it is so that when a Christian domme appeared in Sweden and it knocked out the old Nordic faith so they changed into a celebration called midvinterbloot
not directly celebrate the darkest week of the year begins
without moving towards better times
Lucia is also known as Queen of light

declare Lucia celebrations
I will try
1 usually involves a very early morning
2 Lucia is dressed in a white dress with a crown with candles (it has happened many accidents over the years by fires in the hair)
3 behind Lucia is 12-20 white-clad ladies
4 you can also add a number of white-clad boys, each with a star in his hand
5 carrying out of a prosition with a number of songs belonging Lucia celebration
6 behind prositionen are some gray elves handing out gingerbread saffron buns and mulled wine to spectators

Thank you my fine Viking friend !!!! That has added to my knowledge of the occasion..... All I could remember was that the eldest daughter made special saffron buns the night before....On the day she wore the traditional long white dress and candle head-dress and served the buns she had made as breakfast in bed for her parents...

Thank you
